Comment of the day...

A friend said to me, "You are getting a master's degree in philosophy of religion, right? I thought philosophy and religion were contradictory."

Oh how I lament over the intellectual ignorance of our culture!

Last week in pictures...

Instead of writing about my life, I will show pictures from it. Last week I went to a going away party for a friend at REI and a spa party. At the REI party, my dog, Brandy, attended and drank some beer!!! She loved it!

This picture needs some explaining...Shannon is 6 months pregnant with little Egan and Dave Brown has a bad case of "pregnantitis" from working with Shannon too often. Poor Dave, he is bigger than Shannon!

Mornings like this...

I love mornings like this...I woke up at 6:15 and was on my way to REI when they called me and told me not to come in because the truck would not be there. Well, too late, I was already on my way and wide awake. So...I am currently writing from Einstein's and enjoying a cup of coffee and an egg sandwich while poking around on my labtop with plans of reading some. I am rarely up this early and I am NEVER up this early simply to go get coffee and breakfast. Here is a pic I took with my labtop of me enjoying my coffee.

In other news....I started school this week after a month and a half off. I felt like they gave me a summer break so I was excited to dive back in. I should have a much easier semester than last. I am taking two classes that should not be too difficult, logic and theology II. The class that will consume most of my time is Philosophical Ethics which deals with ethical theory. Hopefully I will have time this semester for gym climbing and snowboarding. I went climbing in the gym Tuesday evening and it kicked my butt, but I enjoyed it nevertheless. I was climbing 5s, 6s, 8s, and one 9 while my climbing partner was climbing 10s and 11s...yes Brienne is a steller climber chick! I could not grip anything for the next two days and I am just now able to put my hair up without pain in my arms. I am hoping to get to the gym about once a week until I can climb outside again! And lastly, I don't know why, but here is a cute pic of my dog...
