Time for my list...

Hannah's blog has inspired me to produce my own list of "guilty pleasures," so here they are in no particular order...

1. Text Messaging: I have gotten way to good at it, especially while driving (so bad, I know!). I would much rather talk to people on the phone, but texting is an easy and fast way to communicate when you don't need to have a full-length conversation with people.

2. Oh the world of Facebook! I have enjoyed re-connecting with people and keeping in touch with friends. I have also recently discovered the world of Facebook chat and I will admit that I have stayed up way too late chatting away...but it has been well worth it!
3. Coffee!!!!! There is nothing better than the infamous caramel macchiato (sp?) at Starbucks but, hey, I will take a good mild black coffee too!
4. Can't foget about BEER! I appreciate a good brew every once in a while...not gonna lie! Guinness is probably my favorite right now!
5. My crazy, silly dog Brandy! I love her to death but I do realize that she is only a dog and I will admit that sometimes I give her a higher status than she deserves. Sadly, I do struggle with the age-old question, "Your dog and a stranger are drowning and you can only save one, which do you save?" My reply is, "That will never happen so I am not going to answer!"
6. Shopping, especially at REI! I am a pretty picky shopper in that I only shop at a few stores but man, if I am in those stores I sure know how to shop! I am a bit of a outdoor gear and clothing snob and it does not help that my place of employment feeds that passion!

I can tell that your list is "in no particular order" because Brandy comes after Beer. close, but never!

Great post!
Gosh, what a coincidence ... last night I was laying in bed thinking about what "guilty pleasures" keep me from and how effectively my time is spent. Of course, the cursed word *cough, 'Facebook', was the first thing to come to mind. I have mixed feelings about this communicative entity - mainly it's absolutely a wonderful way to be in touch with friends (probably all of them), though, my balance I have recently examined is probably not the healthiest.
Goal: exnay on the facebooknay (limiting my usage, that is).

Texting. Again, I agree. This has recently become a weakness which will painfully reflect in my next cell phone bill, though it doesn't keep me from conversation, so, I think it's good...

Alright, I think I might just have to blog this... thanks, Linds.

So what do you plan to do about these "guilty pleasures"?
